LinkedIn Groups are a great way to expand your LinkedIn Network. By adding a LinkedIn Group, all those Group Members are added to your LinkedIn network. Talk about an easy way to expand your network! You can add up to 100 Groups… ADD ALL 100 GROUPS!
Before you start going crazy joining any group, it’s important that you add Groups that contain your target audience. If you are a job seeker, join LinkedIn Groups that contain Recruiters, Headhunters, HR Professionals, Hiring Managers, etc… If you are a Sales Professional, join Groups that contain your prospects… NOT YOUR COMPETITORS!
Now that you have a Group strategy, you may find that you need to delete LinkedIn Groups that don’t work for you anymore.
You can leave a group at any time. UPDATED 2019!
VOILA! You are no longer a member of that LinkedIn Group.

How do I delete a group using the iPhone app?
I am retired and have no desire to stay on LinkedIn.
But where is Interests on the Navigation bar? In the top bar there is Home, My Network, jobs, Messaging, Me, Work and Learning, but no “Interests”
Problem with lots of “help” on Google: they often mention goto menu this or click button that, assuming the user can find that. But often that is precisely the problem.
I find the user interface unintuitive. If I go to my profile (home page), there is on the left: Your communities, Groups. If I click “see all” in Groups I get a list. But why can’t I remove myself from groups here?
There is no “Interests” or “Groups” on my main LinkedIn task bar!
Yeah, click on “work” next to your profile picture and select the groups from available options.
